The Islands

Many travelers feel overwhelmed when hearing there are over 700 islands that make up The Bahamas because they have no idea where to stay or where to visit. Though it is true there are so many islands, there are some that cater more to specific traveler’s needs and preferences. Here are three islands greatly considered to be among the best:

Acklins & Crooked Island

This is the perfect spot to head to if you are looking for some of the most undisturbed stretches of land and beach shore throughout all of The Bahamas. As soon as you hop off of the boat and dig your fit into the warm sand, a sense of peace and tranquility seems to fill every square inch of this preserved and immensely serene Bahaman island.

The Exumas

One of the most well-known and visited islands throughout The Bahamas, this archipelago is made up of nearly 365 cays and islands. Though full of luxury resorts, visitors will also find a laid-back atmosphere as well as rich history, great food and plenty of activities.

Nassau & Paradise Island

Nassau is the capital of The Bahamas and boasts a vast array of modern buildings, amenities and a metropolitan scene. Though many have come to love Nassau, still many more tend to be drawn towards Paradise Island because they in fact feel as if it is true paradise. Maybe it’s the pristine white sandy beaches, excellent nightlife, incomparable resorts, shops and a classy golf course that keeps people coming back year after year.
